Tumeric Tea
Turmeric contains curcumin, which has been recognized for its anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties. Tumeric has been used as a herbal remedy for thousands of years in Indian Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. Traditionally, Indian women were given a drink made out of turmeric and ground ginger in milk after childbirth.
This turmeric tea recipe is quick and easy to make. It is best to use fresh turmeric, however, if you do not have any fresh, then use the readily available dry turmeric powder instead.
The anti-inflammatory properties of Tumeric, together with ginger, makes a truly healthy and satisfying beverage.

1 tbsp dry, ground or freshly grated ginger
